Every musician that comes to a festival deserves to have a good musical experience, and deserves to walk away feeling good about what they did on stage. Even if they have a lot that they can improve upon, every student deserves to hear what they did well along with what they can do to get better.  My goal is to help students deepen their love of music by giving them concrete ways to improve, stated in a positive way that builds them up rather than tearing them down.

I work to give each ensemble (or individual) something they can work on that will help them with every aspect of their music-making, and hopefully keep them excited about music and wanting to come back for more!
